History
This hill gets its name from the eagles that once nested on its crags. It has long served as a natural lookout for watching the coast and the sugarcane fields. Today it's the iconic viewpoint of El Peñón: from above you can see the bay, the mouth of the Yuna River, and the Samaná horizon. A short climb, a view you won't forget.
