Mirador El Cerro del Mango

From the Mirador El Cerro del Mango (Mango Hill Overlook) in El Peñón, you get a sweeping, two-for-one panorama of Samaná Bay and Los Haitises National Park. The hill gets its name from the massive mango trees that once blanketed the slope, giving natural shade to the locals (peñoneros).
