History
Fed by the river flowing down from Loma El Limón, this waterfall is part of the watershed that supplies Estebanía and Azua. For generations, campesinos from La Cañada have used its waters to irrigate their conucos (small family farms) and cool off after a day's work. Its name comes from the wild lemon trees lining the streambed — silent witnesses to life deep in the mountains.
