History
From the top of Cerro de los Pinos, you command the valley where Las Guáranas was born — land of conucos (traditional small farms) and coffee-growing heritage. The viewpoint grew from a community gathering spot where locals would watch the weather and the harvests. Today it delivers the best panoramic view of the municipality: the Jaya River snaking through farms, zinc roofs glinting in the sun, and the silhouette of Loma de la Yaya on the horizon. Climbing up at sunset is a local ritual; the cool breeze and endless green remind you why this corner of the Cibao is called "tierra de gracia" (land of grace).
