History

Born in the Loma de Los Hidalgos, this waterfall flows from the springs that feed the Yuna River. Locals named it 'Mágico' for the veil of mist that rises when water hits rock and the standing rainbow that appears at high noon. It once sheltered cimarrones (escaped enslaved people) and served as a loggers' route; today it's the community's fresh-air sanctuary where families come to wash, pray, and cool off after a day in the fields.
