Maimón
Maimón is a municipality in Monseñor Nouel province in the heart of the Dominican Central Cordillera, part of the mining corridor that includes Bonao province. Ferronickel mining has shaped the region's history, coexisting with mountain agriculture and the fresh waters of rivers descending from the highlands. Its mountain landscapes, clean rivers, and cultivation of coffee and cacao make Maimón a highland community with natural charm and authentic character.
