History
A karst cavity in La Cuchilla, Paraíso's coffee-growing zone. Formed by river erosion in limestone, it served as a temporary shelter and landmark for local farmers. The name refers to the rugged strength of the terrain, not big cats. Today it's an ecotourism stop on the route toward the Sierra de Bahoruco.
